What is Luau?
What is Luau?
The Luau Dinner and Silent Auction is hosted annually by the Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO). It is the biggest fundraiser event we have at Silver Strand Elementary. Silver Strand families and Coronado community members can eat dinner and dessert, play carnival games, bid on auction items, and enter to win raffle prizes.
All proceeds from the Luau fundraiser go directly to Silver Strand Elementary for any school improvements that are needed.
The event also has student performances, music, face painting, and a photo booth.
We raise money in four ways: food, raffle tickets, and merchandise sales as well as the silent auction. Items for our silent auction are solicited from local businesses in and around Coronado.
