Silver Strand School Excels in Sumdog’s San Diego County Math Contest

Silver Strand School recently participated in Sumdog’s San Diego County Math Contest.  Students love playing Sumdog's math games against other students in the county while their teachers keep control over the skills they work on.   As students play, they are asked questions, selected from hundreds of Common Core aligned skills. This powerful learning engine builds an understanding of each student, tailoring questions to their individual needs, and guiding their progress.

During this contest a total of 735 students in the county answered 162,547 questions correctly.  Well done to them all!

The overall winners are the classes which scored highest throughout the contest.  Mrs. Yakutis’ 4th grade class ranked 2nd place in the county!

The daily winners are the classes which had the highest score on each day.  Mrs. Judd’s 2nd grade class and Mrs. Yakutis’ 4th grade class were both daily winners!

Congratulations!!!
